Season 3: Ep 12 - It’s Good Enough
The Season 3 finale arrives! Perfect Brunch for a cold weather day: grilled cheese of havarti, gouda, muenster… with tomato soup and brownies. Jo’s story covers the “demon” Pazuzu - born John Lawson - and his questionable living conditions. Rachel’s unsolved story of body parts, a tattoo, and the name “Monique.”
Season 3: Ep 11 - Gingerbread Hag
It’s a fancy brunch: steak and potatoes! It’s time for another literary character to be put on the scale. Rachel discusses that famous antagonist of Hansel and Gretel. In our second story, Jo tells us about the mysterious vanishing of Bryce Laspisa.
Season 3: Ep 10 - Half Albatross
The Brunch is recovering from a Holiday party; brunch is leftovers. Our first story is about Roy and Faye Copeland’s drifter/livestock shenanigans. Rachel regales us with the mysterious disappearances at the Flannan Isle Lighthouse.
Season 3: Ep 9 - Sax Worker
The Bunch has a sensible steak brunch and a very boozy cocktail. Rachel’s story is about the murder/suicide of Zach and Addie. Jo’s unsolved story focuses on some mysterious details around the death of famed painter, Van Gogh.
Season 3: Ep 8 - Chumps Like Us
In a first, we have an update to a previous episode: an update to the Eisenman case! The Bunch eats some Thanksgiving leftovers for brunch. In our first story, Genene Jones, a nurse, poisons children. In Rachel’s unsolved story Ann Marie Burr vanishes under mysterious circumstances; Ted Bundy is potentially involved.
Season 3: Ep 7 - Hoisted With Your Own Petard
Blueberry pancakes, omelettes, breakfast potatoes, hashbrowns, donuts, and boozy hot chocolate make up our abundant brunch! Rachel’s story asks: Did Andrew Sorensen sell John Eisenman’s daughter into sex trafficking? Is that why John Eisenman killed him? Jo’s unsolved story takes us to the mysterious multiple murder at Lake Bodom, Finland.
Season 3: Ep 6 - Maple Gravy
Buttermilk biscuits and… maple gravy? It’s time again for another of our literary/fictional characters, and this week Jo takes a deeper dive into Tokien’s Gollum. Then Rachel brings us down with the unsolved story of Henry Louis Baltimore Jr.
Season 3: Ep 5 - Lady Killer
Pumpkin-shaped, pumpkin waffles and so much more make up the brunch spread. Our first story is about Juana Barraza, the “Little Old Lady Killer.” Our unsolved story is the quadruple homicide in Keddie California.
Season 3: Ep 4 - Lots of Blood and Pumpkins
It’s a Halloween spoooooky episode! Brunch is orange, with some maple glazed butternut squash, pumpkin roll, and french toast. Jo’s first story puts a ghost on the witness stand. Rachel’s second story is the mysterious Saltzman killings; are they related to Son of Sam?
Season 3: Ep 3 - F*cking Crab Apples
Jo brings us the disturbing tail of the Watts family murders while the Bunch eats sugary kids’ cereal - and some other unplanned sundries. Next, Rachel takes us back to the ‘20s with the mystery surrounding the Halls - Mills murders.
Season 3: Ep 2 - Third Time’s the Charm
The Bunch has a massive brunch: Chicken sausages, garlic cheesy scrambled eggs with chipotle salsa and sour cream, zucchini pancakes, vanilla Greek yogurt with tropical fruit and honeycomb, and Oreo cake. Rachel brings us the story of some disturbing father/son bonding with Joseph Kallinger. Jo discusses the Smiley Face Killer’s modus operandi.
Season 3: Ep 1 - Ub-Bartender
It’s our Season 3 premier! The Bunch returns with a large spread, a complicated cocktail, and a slightly different spin on our usual tales of murder and mayhem. Jo’s first tale is our first non-human culprit. Rachel discusses the disappearance of the Bradley sisters.
Season 2: Ep 11 - Anybody Want a Peanut?
It’s our Season 2 finale! It’s time for another fictional character for our first story; Rachel regales us with the story of Inigo Montoya. For our unsolved story, the lawyer, Richard “Racehorse” Haynes is even more of a character than his client, Dr. John Hill.
Season 2: Ep 10 - The Dick Hole is the Fun Part
It’s an omelet based brunch for the Bunch! The fingerprint is the real star of our first story about the murders surrounding Francisca Roja. Rachel’s “unsolved” story is about the interesting life of Gouverneur Morris.
Season 2: Ep 9 - Raaaaandy
It’s an unusual brunch, and mostly fried. Rachel’s first story is a sky diving love triangle gone wrong. Ray Gricar takes a drive in his MINI Cooper and never returns in Jo’s unsolved second story.
Season 2: Ep 8 - Shapeshifting Reptilian Fingers
French Toast and Brussels Sprouts! In Jo’s story of murder, Girly Chew meets Diazien Hossencofft at Sea World; or does she? Rachel’s unsolved story of Hollywood director/actor William Desmond Taylor has several mysterious suspects.
Season 2: Ep 7 - A Plethora of Assholes
Hot Jezebel, bee cake, stuffed mushrooms, sausage, croissants… it’s a delicious brunch for the Bunch. Mark Twitchell is an asshole and Rachel tells us why in our first story. Jo’s unsolved story of “Mostly Harmless” turns out to be solved!

Clinton’s sausage is a hit at brunch as the Bunch tackles another literary character; it’s time for another Fictional Murderer Episode. Jo helps us answer the question, who is the real monster, the doctor or the creation? For our B story, Rachel walks us through the mystery surround the Lady of the Dunes.
